Peanut Butter, Soy and Sriracha Broccoli

My husband and I have very different styles of cooking:  I usually follow a recipe, he just throws stuff together.  This recipe is one of his stand-bys and I LOVE IT.  It's a simple sauce that makes me enjoy broccoli, but you could probably put it on lots of things and it would taste just great.

I don't have a photo of this because I usually snarf it all down before I remember to take a glamour shot.  Just trust me, it's good.

Peanut Butter, Soy, and Sriracha Broccoli

1 large head broccoli
2 cloves garlic, chopped fine (add more depending on how much you love garlic)
~1 tbsp  peanut oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup sriracha
1/8 cup soy sauce

(If it's easier to remember, it's a 4/2/1 ratio of peanut butter/ sriracha / soy)

Directions:
1) Chop broccoli into small pieces (you can include parts of the stem as well)
2) Mix peanut butter, sriracha and soy in a bowl.  Add water to thin the mixture until it is the consistency of pancake batter (thin but not TOO thin)
3) Place garlic and oil in a pan, cook over medium high heat until the garlic is sizzling
4) Add broccoli and cook for a few minutes
5) Pour sauce over broccoli and garlic, stir until well coated.  Be sure to stir so that sauce does not burn.
Add 1-2 oz of water to the pan and cover, stirring frequently enough to prevent burning.  When broccoli is tender you are ready to serve!
